ESDA Youth Ballet Auditions
Come Join us in Disney World!
E.S.Y.B. is the performing company of ESDA. Students participate in performances in schools, festivals and other venues. In addition, the students also attend master classes and dance conventions through the year.
Students need to be prepared to commit to rehearsals and performance schedules – mainly in the fall. Also, our goal is to perform again in Disney World this year over Mardi Gras weekend 2013. This is always a wonderful trip for students and families. Hope you will join us!

Contemporary Ballet is a form of dance which incorporates elements of both classical ballet and modern dance. It takes its technique and use ofpointework from classical ballet, although it permits a greater range of movement that may not adhere to the strict body lines set forth by schools of ballet technique. Many of its concepts come from the ideas and innovations of 20th century modern dance, including floorwork, balletic movements and andturn-in of the legs..
Lyrical Dance is a style of dance created from the fusion of ballet together with jazz and contemporary dance techniques. The Lyrical dance style has its primary basis in ballet, combining the many technical elements of classical ballet with the freedom, fluidity, expressiveness and airier aspects of jazz, contemporary and modern dance.
Hip-hop Dance refers to dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture. It includes a wide range of styles notably breaking, locking, and popping which were created in the 1970s and made popular by dance crews in the United States.
